How we can add slider to Rhino window?
I don’t think that is possible. You can make your own UI though, for example with Eto using Python or C#, Winforms or WPF when using C# or MFC when using C++. The window with your dialog can be shown when a command runs and the changes the user makes can be displayed with a conduit.
Yes its possible , with render conduits and mouse tracking
Check this Grasshopper Player (custom tools & wish list)
Those are pretty crazy sliders in viewport
Thanks i will try to understand the examples
Do you have any example how to use render conduits with Python?
I find a way
I use ActiveView.Bounds height and width to find the position of the active view corners on the screen with
Rhino.RhinoDoc.ActiveDoc.Views.ActiveView.Bounds.Height-(heigth of the dialog)
Rhino.RhinoDoc.ActiveDoc.Views.ActiveView.Bounds.Width-(width of the dialog)
Than i use the values to fix the dialog location.
I will try if it is possible to change the dialog location automatically when the viewport changed or add it to all viewports.
Another question, why background color transparent don’t show any result?
How we can make the background of the dialog transparent and keep the controls visible
Sorry i am not a python fan
I would love to see how you built this if you are willing to share. You might be able to use Conduit by proving ground to keep your HUD view perpendicular to the screen.
