"Simplest" way to fill closed curves?

I’d like to build some (relatively) low-poly models, and am just getting back to Rhino after a bit  so I’m probably just forgetting how to do this.

To create the main shapes for the models, I’m planning to trace over reference drawings.

Simplest example is just a triangle made up of polylines. I know I can patch it, but I’d like it to be a simple “single” surface if possible, and didn’t find anything on simplifying them (if needed).

The plan is to join the edges of the polygons for the base models before further editing.

TIA

Yeah! I think that may do it. I think part of what’s throwing me off is isocurves, as I don’t know why they’re being generated for simple triangles, or… what they actually do.

If the underlying geometry definition is the same either way, I’ll just turn them off.

They’re just drawn so that you can see it in wireframe.
