Set Cplane to Object fails with a mesh face

Hi,

How can I create a Cplane to a mesh, I had end of a pipe, it wouldnt recognise it.

I clone the mesh explode it and keep end of pipe.

try again.

Set Cplane to Object, select the circular mesh, it wont select.

What is the method ?

I’d use the 3-point option and the Vertex osnap.
