I just got a simple issue I cannot remove the separator. And when I create one this will not be at the and of the range.
Sorry you have had no response. I am looking into this problem.
Separators only ever show show in horizontal, one-row toolbars… they are like buttons, so you can Shift-drag them to remove them.

So drag your toolbar out into one row. Then you will be able to move and delete the separators.
