This looks like it might be an old bug that has resurfaced.

I assume every time you active at the filters its popping up a new panel container even though you have one docked already?

Thanks, that’s an annoying bug that I thought we solved ages ago related to the new panel container system.

Was the order of events something as follows?

You had some filter active then tried selecting something a few times and couldnt and the panel popped up or was it just Filter On and here it is?

Ok, Selection filter has at least one type deactivated. And then I click a geometry of the type which is deactivated.

So in my screenshot below, I should be able to select only surfaces, correct?

When I click on a curve, the popup shows up

It is also not quite clear to me how the filters are supposed to be switched on and off

Theres the disable button as well as the Filter button on the bottom status bar. Are they not working? We should probably move that disabled to last place like OSnaps do.

I’ve also made a few more changes to these buttons today. When filters are “Off” they have more of an “Off” appearance when using the buttons and icons. They get get grayed out better.

This works but how do I disable / enable just one of the filters in the sidebar?

Right click it to isolate it, similar to OSnaps.

So if you right click Surface it doesnt disable the others or toggle between it and the others? That sounds like a click handler bug.

The icons for the “Selection filter” are great. However, I find the icon for the curves/edges a bit odd looking, because it’s like a swirl/spiral. I would rather have an alternative icon that actually looks like a proper S-shaped curve (or a diagonal line).

Mouse hovering a filter makes the filter blink

Right click Disable to cycle them.

I assume you ran TestOSnapToggles and changed some values? If so what are they?

Hey @Rhino_Bulgaria , I think that swirl is Rhino’s default “Curve” icon but @marika_almgren knows better than I do!
