When a polysurface is selected, it does not allow any object within its extents to be selected. For example in the screenshot, neither object outlined in red can be selected if it is clicked within the yellow selection outline of the current object. They can be added to the selection only when clicked outside the yellow selected object, making it difficult to select multiple objects at once.
This issue does not happen in rhino 7. Currently on Version 8 BETA (8.0.23264.09004, 2023-09-21)
hi @Noah_Lightsey I cannot repeat that behavior here. Pls run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results. If possible also send the model that shows this behavior, thanks
It seems like the problem is a clipping plane issue, when the clipping plane is off I can select everything as normal. When the clipping plane is on and the camera/view is above the clipping plane, objects block the selection of other objects behind or in front of them. I’ll also attach the file below
