I have an issue with selecting objects simply using my cursor to click on them: it works when window-selecting but not to directly click on them. Ive checked the selection filter and I have no locked layers.
It appears to me like it appears randomly, I cannot detect any certain pattern in this behaviour, perhaps its my computer that is messing, but I just wanted to check here first.
Thank you - sorry I was not able to post it yesterday, however, today when I opened the file it did work! I think it is my computer that is unstable. ??
Because yesterday I did as well close the project and program, and then opened it again without any results then. Anyway, it works now.

i have the same problem; cannot select the landscape (grey hill in the drawing - has its own layer and is not locked). i can activate all other objects in the drawing. not sure what settings i have to change…
The object may be locked. It is possible for individual objects to be locked without the layer being locked. Try the Unlock command. Rhinoceros Help
If Unlock does not work then save the model with a different name, delete all the objects you can select, save again, and upload the model with only the object you cannot select.
