Section tools snapping bug

I found this bug or shortcoming in section tools V7 latest release.

I found I can draw on the sectioning plane very cool, but there are some bugs. Namely snapping to objects within the section/clipping plane only works in wireframe display. If I set my display to shaded or anything other than wireframe snapping fails. Also I found even in wireframe snapping just stops working when drawing sometimes or is intermittent.

Can this be tuned up for V7?

I’ve attached the file for you or anyone else to look at.

Notice if you rotate the view 180 degrees snapping works again in shaded mode. But that defeats the purpose of the clipping plane, in this case working inside a tube one wants to work at the clipped side not the unclipped side.

I tested in Rhino 8, and this seems to work correctly. Do you have access to Rhino 8 or the WIP?

Hi @rajaa

I didn’t purchase RhinoV8 and thus don’t have access to V9wip.
Can this be corrected in V7 in a service release?
If not that’s ok, I understand you may have stopped working on V7 at this point.
