@rajaa @mortenengel Yes, we also tried VisualArq and had the same experience as Morten. Good concept, but not useable for production and inflexible. If we require BIM components we use Jon Mirtschin´s Geometry Gym plugin. It usually does the job for us. That said, we are not looking for a BIM solution. BIM might be the future in our industry, but currently for small scale architecture projects (shop interiors, single family homes) it is an overkill.

The decision to switch software is based on the need for a good and fast drawing workflow based on 3D planning. (Switching to a BIM program is rather a side effect and investment into the possible future of the AEC market).

The features described above would be a great start. I am not sure how to be more precise? Would it give a better idea to describe an ideal 3D/drafting workflow with some screenshots?
