I have just tested the new section function, which works very well as it is. Unless I missed it, is there any plan to extend this function, allowing the creation of an updateable 2D projection? This exists in VisualArq, or as in Sketchup to copy the outlines and hatchings of sections to use them in 2D? This would be a real technical achievement for Rhino in this area.

For dynamically updated 2D geometry sections, there’s the SectionTools plug-in. It’s being updated to support the new features in Rhino 8.

Thank you for your answer, but I think that using a plug-in again does not make the work any easier. Why not integrate all this directly into rhino? And what about the implementation of all this in grasshopper and/or rhinocommon?
