sdfjMeshes in an stl file to make a model with a 3D printer

Hello, I got an stl file from a free download site. The file is in mesh format. Because there are a lot of meshes, I can’t do things like add, subtract, combine, etc. on those meshes. What would you suggest? Secondly, if that mesh is heavy and I want to empty it and lighten it for 3D printing, it will be very difficult and won’t work. Thank you.

Hi -

Without the 3dm or stl file, it’s difficult to say why that doesn’t work. Please attach something that we can check.

Hi @IMAN-KHEYRKHAH
The stl file opens fine here, and is not particularly heavy. There’s a few non-manifold edges and self-intersecting faces, but otherwise it seems fine. So I’m guessing the problem is specific to the objects you are trying to boolean (or whatever you are trying to do), so you’ll have to be more specific as to what exactly your problems are. Here’s a version with the problematic areas fixed - maybe that’ll work better with whatever you are looking to do.
