If I could get some help building the script that would generate this Salt Loom, I have a project due Wednesday and I cannot seem to get the script I have to work for the object to be that square loft.
It is not exactly the same as your reference image, but you can get what you want by referring to “this” thread.
i somewhat understand the logic of that script but i don’t understand how to apply the rectangular shape i have instead of their cone shape.
and also it is hollow and not solid, which makes me more confused.
So, all the ingredients are given and you just don’t know how to cook ?..

Grasshopper is much harder to master as people think it is. I experience that every day.
Don’t post a picture and ask others for doing your job, but instead ask your teacher/boss for more time to learn,further teachings or tell him you are not the right person for this.
thank you so much for your help. the script i had was only square shapes and i couldn’t seem to get it to that cone shape.
i generated my own script, it just wasn’t right. i needed help with the shape. i probably should have posted my previous script with the image, i just wasn’t sure if i was even on the right track in the first place and my TA provided help, just not enough and I was running out of time and resources.
Probably? ALWAYS! It’s the right thing to do. It shows you made some effort, shows what you know and what you don’t know and doesn’t waste the time and effort of multiple people creating models from scratch that may or may not address your issue. Always post code please.
