Roof tiles on surface

Hello

I am trying to create a roof tiles on surface. I tried doing this with Lunchbox, but i cant seem to get the elements(tiles) the same size. (U and V)
How can i do this, or what is the best way? But I can’t use panelingtools plugin

Here you go! I used contours, divided those lines, evaluated the surface at those points, and then mapped shingles to the planes. I’m sure you can play around to make it look a bit better towards the bottom.
