This work is a reference to an already built installation art - rolling bridge.
The Rolling Bridge is a kinetic sculpture, and a unique type of curling moveable bridge, completed in 2004 as part of the Grand Union Canal office and retail development project at Paddington Basin, London.

Initially, a user inquired about how to use Bongo to simulate the animation of this bridge . I found the design quite intriguing as it serves both as an installation art piece and a functional structure.
I created this animation using the IK system of Bongo2 and rendered each frame using the default renderer in Rhino 8, and then I did some post-processing on these frame sequences with DaVinci Resolve.
