Rhino 8 Panning lag Intel Mac

ever since the last update I am experiencing a heavy lag whenever I am pressing shift or command shift to pan the view.

Hi Maximilian -

Do you remember which version you were running before this one?
Also, please change the update frequency to Service Release Candidates and let that update you to the latest public 8.8 release to see if that fixes this.

Hi Wim,
I updated and restarted but the lag is still persisting, I also reset all the Aliases and Keyboard bindings but it did not help.

@Maximilian_Gallo do you see this lag right after you restarted Rhino? We do have a YT item regarding Shift button to cause a significant lag when multiple documents are open, or have been opened. This lag only resolves after restarting Rhino. If you see something different, pls let us know.

The lag it quite persistent, I restarted Rhino, opened a blank file and multiple files but regardless of the file it is lagging.
Would it be possible for you to send me the previous version, before 8.7 perhaps. Before the 16th of May it seemed to work fine.
I have been using Rhino 7 instead, could it be that having both Rhino 7 and 8 installed is somewhat of a problem?

RH-82080 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 9

That worked great on me as well on Rhino 8. It was lagging a lot even on a empty canvas with a single line. It works good now.

However I have a similar problem with R7. When I first downloaded R7 and R8 I was opening 8 files at the same time on R7 and it was really smooth. Now, the same file is lagging on R7 but not in R8. I tried the same updating change but nothing happened.

Do you have any suggestions?
