Simple Prisma causes huge Lag

i opened a file from a user here in this topic and noticed a huge lag trying to drag either of these very simple objects in any ortho view. in the perspective view it seems to work without lag.

so i exported one of the objects as geometry only without plugins and texture and opened it again but the lag persisted at first, after closing the newly exported file once more and opening it anew it seemed to work again, also creating a new object in that file just a simple cube for instance was just as laggy in the ortho view.

Thank you for your report, but I found that it works fine in Rhino 8.26 for Mac on my end. I’d like to know which version of Rhino Mac are you using now? Do you want to give it a try with Rhino 8.26 for Mac ? If so I will send the download link to you via DM.

maybe its a screen setting thing? i have an emulated resolution which may cause hick ups because… well apple

i have a 4k monitor, it might make the difference you are not seeing on a native macbook resolution that does not get resized.

No lag on Windows 4K with scaling. Maybe your Mac is turning up its nose at all those teeth made largely of flat surfaces…
