I am purchasing a new laptop to replace the one I had accidentally cut in half on a shop floor and I want something cheep purely for drawing and light modeling on site. Any rendering or serious modeling will be done on a desktop workstation in the office. I still want access to either a 1440p or 4k screen while I am out and about and found usb3 to displayport adapters that can do what seems to be what I need. Has anyone had any experience with one of these and how they work with rhino?
