Rhino surface blend compared to Alias

Hi, everyone this is my first post here. I am trying to learn either Rhino or Alias, so I have been comparing them for the past few days. I know a portion of Autodesk Maya, here is my recent work - http://3dcoat.com/forum/uploads/monthly_2016_07/FinalRender.png.2686526d47d679c2e78998e4e4f1b3dc.png - Incidentally my interest for learning surface modeling started during this project. I am looking for accuracy, control and better surface analyzing tools which poly modeling softwares lacks.

So I was looking around the web and saw a video which compared Alias and Rhino’s rail sweep and unfortunately he showed that Rhino could not maintain continuity. Here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNqGYJzrjWY - is the video biased? Or is there another way to tackle such a situation? I am new to surface modeling, just getting a grasp of the terminologies, so I would be very grateful if experienced Rhino users help me by answering.

Thanks for reading.
