Dear friends,
There is the possibility to change the Rhino logo according to the user’s desire. In my case and those of my family hate that skeleton that appears when the program starts running. We would like something different.
Thanks in advance
yes of course, at least on mac that is very simple. from what i read online quickly on windows that is the pretty much the exact same
all you have to do is to replace the icon by right clicking on the app, quoted from the web:
Right-click the name of the program in the drop-down menu, and open the Properties menu. In the Properties menu, click the center button that says “Change Icon…” If the icon does not show up, click the “Browse” button and go to the file location where the . ico file is saved.
here a png that should work, have fun.
just save your old icon, in case you want to have it back
You can’t replace that image - but you can stop the splash screen it is on from appearing when Rhino starts up. Create a new shortcut for Rhino and go into its Properties settings and add /nosplash to the Target:
Then start Rhino from that shortcut.
Of course, if you do this, you will have to open your initial model from the File menu after Rhino starts. But you can still see the splash screen if you want to (for example to see the latest Tips or to check the Rhino version number) by clicking About Rhinoceros from the Help menu.

Is there a way to disable the splash when opening a file directly from explorer?
That’s good,
I received several year ago an script for change the image in the Rhino4 splash screen but I don’t remember exactly the year. I will search.
Thanks anyway,
Giovanni
