Rhino.Inside.Wpf/WinForms

OK. Any plans to implement? I would definitely start a project with WinForms if it was supported.

Hopefully some day; there are many other things to take care of first.

Oh, so you are busy working on the WPF version?

How would one go about running Rhino.Inside inside a WebForms app with a viewport visible? Was going to evaluate Rhino.Inside but found only a ConsoleApp example.

Embedded viewport controls aren’t really implemented yet so this wouldn’t currently be possible.

My sincere apologies for messing up the order of the posts @RIL as I was trying to split this topic so it gets focused attention…

No problem. I think I can live with that :upside_down_face:

Looking forward to support for WinForms.

Ok, turns out I lied. The latest V7 WIP has just enough in it to make this work. There is still a lot of work to do in this area. I’ll try to get a sample put together.

NOTE: Make sure you are using the V7 WIP that was released today (Oct 9, 2019) or newer

Sample applications for WinForms and Eto can now be found at

Here’s a teaser

Hello Steve. I’m trying to implement the examples of the Rhino.Inside Winforms (https://github.com/mcneel/Rhino.Inside-Workshop/wiki/Sample-2) and I get the following errors:

Can you help me with this?
Regards

Just double checking, are you sure you unchecked “Prefer 32-bit” in the project properties? https://github.com/mcneel/Rhino.Inside-Workshop/wiki/Sample-2#1-create-a-64-bit-net-framework-winforms-application
