Hello!
The following description might be overexplaining, as some of these steps are obvious, but I want the issue to be painted in as full of a picture as possible.
Some background information, which might potentially be the reason for this issue: I have an education license through my university: Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson) for both Rhino and Revit. I have renewed my Revit education license a few days ago. I have Revit 2025, and Rhino 7 on this computer.
I’ve tried downloading Rhino Inside Revit from the main download link, on the main website page: Rhino.Inside®.Revit
After clicking the button, logging in, and accepting terms and conditions, a file named “RhinoInside.Revit_1.21.8904.29048.msi” is downloaded.
I open this file, accept conditions, and click install. The program finishes the install process in about 2 seconds, and the finished download window opens up. I press finish, launch Revit, and I do not see the “RhinoInside” panel at the top of my screen.
I check the file location: “%ProgramData%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins<2025>” for where the **RhinoInside.Revit" file should be located, but it does not exist.
I assumed that the program did not properly download, so I go back to my downloads folder and open the “RhinoInside.Revit_1.21.8904.29048.msi” file again. The file should open a pop up which informs me that I have previously downloaded the program, and give me options to delete it, or repair it. This does not happen in my case. The file goes through the download process of about 2-3 second again, as if I’ve never downloaded it previously.
I have tried this process three times, just in case, and the same thing happens each time. Would anyone know how to solve this issue, or has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thank you for your time, I really do appreciate it a lot.
