Rhino.Compute Server RAM Memory Recommendation

Hi all,

I hope you are all keeping well and ready to enjoy the Christmas break as much as possible despite the current difficulties.

I am in the process of setting up Rhino.Compute on a server and would like to ask for suggestion in terms of server RAM memory.

I am not planning to draw complex geometry: just a bunch of boxes and lines but I would be loading and downloading large amounts of data (numbers) from combinatorics and would definitely be aiming at a smooth UX.

Any suggestions?

Hey Miguel, all of our internal testing has been on VMs with 2 vCPU + 4 GB RAM. I’d suggest starting around there and then adjusting based on your own testing with your particular use case. This is easier with virtual machines, of course!
