What this definition does is create 24 text entities using same annotation style because Rhino cannot have several annotation styles under the same name.
first I thought that I overrides are defined in the ‘Annotation style’ component, as this was the only place I saw the possibility to edit Text settings
I missed the fact that I should ZUI the ‘Text Settings’ parameter in the ‘Text Entity’ component. Which seems odd, as the new tendency with these ‘Rhino’ components is to show all possible parameters upon insertion.
However, in the ‘Text alignment bake bug.gh’ the preview shows the intention correctly, but the baked result does not. So, if I was altering the Style, and not the overrides - why didn’t the Style update? I prefer the fact that it did not update, but the preview is incorrect in that case.
I have used Grasshopper since Explicit History, and Monkey before that, but I have to say that the addition of these post-David Rhino components are overtly complex to use. I like the fact that there are more options, but Elefront already nailed the usability.
