I have a bunch of predefined annotation styles in Rhino which I want to use to assign text properties:
Have you seen the Annotation Text Settings component?
Yes, but I can’t seem to find how this would be of help.
I don’t want to kick the open doors by creating new styles.
Ok wait. You create the text and then after use the Annotation Style override component to assign.
I’m not at my computer but if I remember correctly you plug the text component into the A input
Similar question the other day…
Thanks. Not easy to figure out.
I have one doubt: the font discrepancy
See how the text is displayed:
using V8 Text Entity with Annotation style assigned
Elefront:
Text inserted directly in Rhino:
What if you use the custom preview component?
Not sure what you mean. It wasn’t about colour, but font difference
Yes, this is it! Thanks Martin, I appreciate it.
Slowly I’m getting my head around this new paradigm. It is a great stuff, but so alien to whatever I have been doing so far.
Yes it is different from Elefront. I made the switch as soon as the new components were released the very first time.
