Assign rhino annotation style to Gh texts - how?

I have a bunch of predefined annotation styles in Rhino which I want to use to assign text properties:

just like in Elefront: give me text, position and the style

Have you seen the Annotation Text Settings component?

Yes, but I can’t seem to find how this would be of help.
I don’t want to kick the open doors by creating new styles.

Ok wait. You create the text and then after use the Annotation Style override component to assign.

I’m lost. Feeding style to the override component has no effect at all:

I’m not at my computer but if I remember correctly you plug the text component into the A input

Not sure what you mean. It wasn’t about colour, but font difference

Slowly I’m getting my head around this new paradigm. It is a great stuff, but so alien to whatever I have been doing so far.

Yes it is different from Elefront. I made the switch as soon as the new components were released the very first time.
