Rhino 8 BETA (8.0.23271) is now available for Windows and Mac

Bugs Fixed:

  • Grasshopper: Fix all annotation components so that they do not automatically generate objects with null inputs. (RH-77349)
  • Print: Layouts panel "Print" button scrambles print ui (RH-77361)
  • Properties:
    • Layer dropdown drawing too big of a color swatch (RH-77355)
    • Properties > Layer drop down too large (RH-77351)
  • SDK: RhinoCommon: RhinoObject.UserData doesn't seem to save to the object when saving the file (RH-48844)
  • UI Cleanup: Sidebars are too difficult to resize (RH-77150)

Mac-Only Changes

Bugs Fixed:

  • CommandHistory: CommandHistory doesn't scroll to the bottom (RH-73417)
  • Options: Mouse: Mouse manipulation grayed out (RH-77211)

Rhino 8 BETA (8.0.23276) is now available for Windows and Mac

  • ComputeVertexColor command doesn't appear to work? (RH-77165)
  • Display: Curves and hatches coplanar to a clipping plane are not visible on a "Parallel Reflected" viewport (RH-77341)
  • Print: Closing print dialog with Image File selected and reopening shows incorrect controls (RH-77364)
  • Rendering: Post Effect: Issues with clipping planes (RH-77305)
  • UserText: Retain key when value is removed (RH-77459)

Tasks Completed:

  • Groundplane: ground plane line shows with shadows only enabled (RH-77504)
