So enjoying the various little improvements moving from 7 - 8
minor query…the icon on my taskbar is still say its Rhino7? has it just picked up the wrong icon file?
I’m definitely not still using 7, strange
If I open multiple instances of RH7 and RH8, the taskbar icon shows the one opened first.
@Almost_Everything I’m having the same issue, have you found a way to fix it yet?
its weird right? Mine only ever shows as RH7. I’m sure somewhere in the program file there is an icon for 8, but as far as linking it in windows operating system, no idea.
its just the small taskbar icon, the larger start bar is RH8
I think we’re going to have to wait for the big guns to sort this with an update. I’m sure they are already having a busy few weeks pulling on the various threads. I will say on the whole this has been a smoother transition from RH6 - RH7, ouch there was some frustrating “nuances”
FWIW, this issue with taskbar icons has been present for a decade or so and has been attempted fixed at several points in that timespan.
