Anyone else feeling the pain on this one? Same behavior for Polyline and InterpCrv if that helps

Hello- as far as I know we have not seen this - I will check the build you mention.

Hey folks, any word on this? Thanks.

hi @anon I would try updating your display driver to see if that makes any difference. Since we cannot reproduce it, there is nothing yet we can do about it.
Make sure to perform a clean installation of the drivers.

Updated driver with a clean installation. No change, unfortunately.

hi @anon can you disable MultiViewCapture as a test, and see if the problem persists?

Ok, just disabled MultiViewCapture w/ R8 shutdown and restart - no change.

One more thing I would like to try, can you run _Reset and hit the Save settings for support… and send that to me. And as well run OptionsExport and send the resulting ini to me?

I think I tried everything I can think of to reproduce, but still cannot. The only big difference I see is that you are running Windows 10, but I can hardly believe that could be it.
I loaded your settings but that did not change anything.

Ok. Thanks for digging. Kinda not great unfortunately… do you think it’s a graphics card thing?

I can reproduce it here with R8 SR5 if i click new polylines points very very fast, then it noticably lags behind to connect them. R7 does not have this. Would have never noticed it while clicking with normal speed.

c.

Yeah, I can see a tiny bit of lag here when I click polyline points as fast as my index finger can go - I estimate it’s maybe a tenth of a second or two behind the click and I see the last segment drawn a fraction of a second after I stop - however nothing near what the video above shows. And I have to click so fast I would never hit any object snaps or anything else accurately. If I make a polyline at a ‘normal’ speed (for me) I don’t see any delay.

True, I don’t see this at all in V7.
