Rhino 8 messages doesn't show on screen

Hi!
I’m getting problems when I click certain functions in Rhino where the “pop-up message” doesn’t show up on screen and prevents me from clicking anything.
For example when I shift drag a button away from a toolbar in order to delete it a message usually shows up saying “Do you really want to delete this button?”. This message box isn’t visible on my screen and I think it’s behind the Rhino window or something. This message box (not visible to me) is preventing me from clicking anything, I can’t minimize the window som taskbar or anything. I’ve resorted to Ctrl+Alt+Del and thinking twice before clicking stuff. Please help.

Hei Linus -

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Hei Linus -

I’d start by changing the update frequency to Service Release Candidate and update to the current 8.4 candidate.
-wim

I’ll ask my IT department to update the software to the latest version.
However I don’t see how that is going to solve the problem since I’ve been running this version for a couple of weeks without issues.
