When I use MeshFromLines in Rhino 8, the generated mesh is incomplete, but it works fine in Rhino 7.
Rhino 8 version: 8.2.23346.13001, 2023-12-12
The attachment contains the test file, saved in Rhino 7 version.

works fine here in v8.4
one thing to check, make sure your units and tolerances are identical from v7 to v8… that could make a difference

I also have the same problem. I posted it 2 weeks ago here ( Meshformlines underperform in Rhino 8.0 - Rhino / Rhino for Windows - McNeel Forum) but I didn’t get a reply.
@theoutside I have an evaluation version for Rhino 8, and the latest version seems to be v.8.2. Is it because I use an evaluation version that I cannot get the 8.4? I need to check the MEshFromLines command in a bunch of files.
Edit: Even in 8.3, it’s not working for me.
As for @Ansen.A 's case, I get this result in 8.3:

When I copy these lines and generate a mesh at the same time, the duplicated ones can create a complete mesh, but the original lines still result in broken mesh.

I just downloaded the latest version of Rhino and the command “meshFromLines” still doesn’t work well.
It’s a pity that such a beautiful and useful command is not considered as such for Rhino 8.
Can anyone please explain the issue, why it doesn’t work, and if there will be effort to resolve the issue?

RH-79413 is open to the public. As you can see, this issue is currently on the Rhino 8 list.
