Hi Guys i have this faint dashed text box appearing on my layout page , the only way to get rid of it is to copy and paste and delete the original . are there some kind of setting that i need to turn off ?
only happens in RHINO 8 not 7
Can you run SystemInfo in the command line?
Not seeing this in a simple test on 8.3.23349.07001.
In a layout I placed text and selected it, and deselected.

You’ll have to hit the Esc key on your keyboard to get rid of that.
Note that you can also turn off the much more general “Turn on control points when selecting a curve, light, clipping plane, or annotation” option in Rhino Options -> Mouse.
