just tried the section tools, its great that you can update views. However what seems to be annoying to do for documentation is to finally tweek how the background lines look and how the section lines look on drawing.
It would be fantastic if the layer & sublayer can be set on the “3d object layer” section style menu, on to which layer + sublayer the 2d line object is placed afterwards. Currently this is all “by object”, or preset within the tool, there seems to be no manual override.
For example, then i could say “i want sections” and of all my wooden objects make the cut line all placed to the same layer “wood::woodcutline” (not distinguished by view or section) and for concrete “concrete::concrete cutline”.
In current manner i would have to duplicate the section to have a section per material and name the sections as such, and afterwards tweak the line properties to read the layer lineweight.
