Rhino 8 crash at startup

Good morning,
After I start Rhino 8 it takes a few seconds and then Rhino crashes. is there a way to find out what is going wrong. the problem started after I did a Rhino update. Before that it was running flawlessly.

After I had problems starting up Rhino, I updated the NVIDEA drivers for my RTX 3070. I thought this could be the problem. but it made no difference

can you run Rhino in safe mode?

First thing you can try is a repair of Rhino. This will require a restart of your computer afterward.

Hello Gijs, in safe mode it keeps running. there was a message about plugins
is there a way to disable some plugins in normal mode?

Okay, good to know Rhino runs in safe mode.

Next, go to PluginManager and disable the plugins that don’t ship with Rhino:

After that restart Rhino in Normal mode.
If it runs, try to load plugins again to find the offending one.

its on the system. but i have not used it with Rhino 8 I do use it wjth Rhino 7

thank you verry mutch. without those plugins loading rhino 8 keeps on running. I’m turning them on 1 by one to see witch one is giving me trouble

Maxwel render is the couse of the crash. after I turned it back on Rhino 8 crashes again

in some other post someone wrote that uninstall and reinstalling the latest version of maxwell solves the problem…appearently. I still have problems with the dispersion node on GPU rendering, though.
