Hi there,
I can’t find how to make Rhino 8 work on my mac. It crashes as soon as I start using any tools.
I’ve looked at some of the discussions around, none helped so far.
If you can help that would be great. Cheers !
are you able to start Rhino? If so, can you run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results?

Did you try 8.23 SRC yet? If not that might be worth trying first

Is that the last update ? not sure to understand what SRC means … I’m up to vers. 8.22 at the moment. I have no access to another update, as far as I can see it.
8.23 SRC is the service release candidate. But never mind this, no need to try

Thank you, sorry I missed something, it took me few reads to get what it means, not used to that stuff.
Anyway, i just tried the command “TestCoalesceProcessing” as proposed, and nothing happens. The command is unknown …
I’ve sent you a link in pm. Did you test in there? The command will not run in current service release, since it doesn’t exist in this service release.

So I installed the build you shared and run the command TestCoalesceProcessing > the result indicated “Coalesce preprocessing is disabled”
Contrary to previous version, I managed to build several box and start playing a bit. But crash occured when I tried to change apparence from wireframe to something else.
I shared the crash report.
Do you need other information from me ?
