Hi, After updating to Rhino 8.17, the Archicad Live Connection no longer works (I’m using Archicad 28.0).
• Not showing in Rhino’s Plugin Manager, but visible in Grasshopper.
• Clicking the Archicad Live Panel crashes Rhino instantly.
• Tried reinstalling everything & running in Rosetta mode – no success.

What was the previous Rhino version, we can send you a link to test if that is indeed related.
Please run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post the result.

My previous Rhino version was 8.15 or 8.16, I don’t remember exactly…
i have not updated my macOS recently, the the issue started only after updating Rhino.

I sent you some links, there are some known issues with 15.3.1 so if either are unsuccessful we can see if its related.
Unfortunately, the solutions you provided did not work. Rhino 8.17 live connection with archicad still does not launch on my Mac. Since you mentioned known issues with this macOS version, what would be the next step to resolve this?
As I mentioned before, the older version was working. Could you please send me the download links for Rhino 8.15 and Rhino 8.16?

Hello. I am using MacOS Rhino 8.17.25066.07002, 2025-03-0 and the moment I click in the menubar item “Archicad Connection Palette…” Rhino instantly crashes. I already tried a clean install with no plugins to no success.
Any help please?

We have gotten feedback that updating to the current public 8.18 release fixes that crash. You can change the update frequency in the options to have that automatically download that version.

I chose the option “Service Release Candidate” and installed version 8.18.25084.13002, 2025-03-25, and it is now working. Thank you for the hint!

I am having exactly the same problem. As soon as I open the archicad connection pallette rhino 8.17 crashes… using Mac M2 with ArchiCAD 28.
