Bug: Rhino 8 Crashes

I am getting A LOT of Rhino 8 crashes where I don’t seem to be doing anything other than scrolling the view or clicking on a tab or while Rhino is in the background. This makes me suspect that some timed background operation is the culprit.

I don’t know what to look for at this point.

start by posting the report generated from running the systeminfo command in rhino please.

I’ve clicked to send reports to McNeel but it does not always give me that option

Here’s an oddity after opening after a crash.

Some of my wide lines were very thin. It appears to me that the “Print Width” shifted from Points to MM (How do I set it back?)

hi @miano the crashes you report are hard to follow up if they are seemingly random.

thanks, that is very helpful.
Without a crash report, the only way we can fix things is to have a repeatable pattern as you know. So if you do find a pattern in the crashes, pls let us know.

As for the line thickness issue you report, I’m not following what you are referring to. How does that relate to the screenshot of the tolerance setting popup?
