Rhino 7 PDF Export fail?

Hi team,
I have been using Rhino 6 for quite a while and recently switched to the version 7. Quite soon I have noticed that the export of 2D PDF drawing is a bit different. It seems that the quality of the line works dropped. I exported exactly the same drawing with exactly the same properties but there is a big difference between them. Is there something I need to change in the options to get the same resuts?

Absolutely love the software!

Thank you very much.

Hi Jan -
I’m not sure if you are reporting an issue with PDF export or the Make2D command. Could you post the 3dm file that you are working with and state the steps that you are taking?
Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo and copy-paste the result here.

Hey Wim,
Thank you for your answer. The Make2D command works fine, it seems that the problem happens when I want to export the drawing as a PDF file. Suddenly some of the lines disappear which in the version 6 was not happening.

I usually build the design in 3D, choose the right view and with “Make2D” command change the design to lines and prepare the drawings for 2D export out of Rhino. In that step I use “export selected”, select “save as type:PDF” and choose the window I want to export. Type of PDF export - vector graphic. I have been using this for a while and it always worked perfect.

Thank you very much.
-Jan
