Rhino 7 is very slow

Hi Everyone

Recently, my rhino started acting very slowly. It happens as soon as I start the program, I can barely rotate or move the view without having to wait seconds for it to happen. Im very upset as it just happened from one day to the other. If I start the program in Safe Mode I have no issues.

I noticed this started when I tried to load a grasshopper/Kangaroo script from this forum, as I was getting help. Does anyone know what it could be?

I runs slowly with and without the charging cable connected, it ran perfect before with and without it connected.

Hope someone can help solve my issue

Best Regards!

I have also noticed it only happens within the viewport. Hoovering over the different commands highlights fast

I just checked if it happens in other programs too. It seems to be the same in revit and illustrator. This is odd, I have a fast computer and I have never had this issue before?

Hi Mikkel, Please type SystemInfo into the Rhino command line and paste the results here.

Hej Mikkel -

I’d make sure that all Windows updates are installed and reboot the machine.
-wim

Hi @wim

I restarted the pc, and the program seems to work again. This happened two days ago as well, so I’m still curious why this is happening. I have never had any problems with my 3D programs before, and my music software where i make music works just fine? As i said, i downloaded a script from this forum, and the problem seem to have appeared at that moment. Any idea what could cause this?
The script i downloaded is the bottom one of this thread:

Thanks in advance !
