Does SelBadObjects result in anything?

there is a difference for the better. However, the result is not optimal for an object without many details and with a 12-core processor and a graphics card asus rtx a4000

Is this a particular file or any object in a rendered view? Is the object extremely far from the 0,0?

If you can post or send the file that is troublesome we can take a look.

do you have a ton of blocks in the scene? Are they structured poorly with blocks inside of blocks inside of blocks?

If so, run the selblock command, then explode blocks = all

does that help?

poorly structured blocks are notorious for causing unexplained slowdowns… explode them, and re block them at one layer deep and they will run way faster.

Do you recommend that my objects be in the form of surfaces rather than solids? I understood correctly?

A “block” in Rhino is a way to organize and use objects. Using Blocks [McNeel Wiki]

A “solid” in Rhino is a closed surface or polysurface.

no, see here-
