Rhino 5 64-Bit version not installed on Windows 8 64-Bit, what's next?

Hi…,

I have got a customer call, that the current Rhino download just installed the Rhino 32-Bit-Version on a Windows 8 64-Bit.

There is no Rhino 5 64-bit in the normal program folder, in the program (x86) folder is the 32-bit version.

What to check?

I just had this happen on a Windows 10 install as well, got an error message and looks like there is a .Net problem. If so, looks like 32 bit installs but not 64 bit. Maybe the same on your end…

Yes, when the installer finishes, there’s a link on the final page to the error log. If not, look in the %temp% directory for a log file with a name starting with “Rhino”
