Is there a way to remove an instance from a revit group?

You can create and modify the group type like so

I am trying to move an element in revit with “element location” component and it gives me error when revit element is in a group.

That seems in line with editing Groups in the Revit UI (try moving a Element in a group), the group editor needs to be opened.
