I’m thinking about buying a Mac from mid 2015 with a intel iris pro 5200 graphics card and 16GB memory. You think that’ll be enough for the latest version of Rhino 6?
It will probably run, but that is not a good performing graphics card.
I would pass on the offer but that’s me.

Hey John, thanks for your reply, I guess the basic version of the newest MacBook will do it’s job then with AMD Radeon Pro 5300M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory?
I think so, but I don’t have one.
Hopefully someone that has one like that will chime in.
