Rhino on MAC retina

Hello everyone!

I’d like to buy Rhino for Mac, but I’m not sure that my graphics card supports the program.
Technical specifications are:

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB for a Retina MacBook Pro, 15-inch, 2015 with 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and RAM 16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz.

I hope you can help me! thanks!

hi Irma its not much traffic here at the moment as it seems, so i just sneak in
and help with my experience so far if that helps you at all.

i think its save to say that you should not worry about your specifications here too much
my macbook pro is now more then 7 years old and it still does a very good job on rhino

i have a third of your graphic card vram and half of your main memory which runs
at a much lower frequency and it still works fine.

the spec on my MacBook Pro is not much higher that yours, it runs just fine

Anti aliasing doesn’t work on macs with some of the Intel Iris Pro graphics chips. Check the Rhino website for the specs that the program runs best on.

yes my graphics card is an NVIDIA, but from my limited knowledge some Intel cards are fine too, there is a thread here with some info

I’ve got MacBook Pro retina 13inch late 2013
2.4Ghz Intel Core i5
8GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
Iris 1536MB

working fine for me.

Rendering is a bit slow but, hey why not
just install it and use it for 90days free!
I think it’s still free…

thanks to all of you!
