Render with display colours

I often import files which part colours already assigned. These show up fine in Shaded views. I would like to easily use these colours to show in Rendered view without individually assigning a material to each part. Is there a way to do this. I’m using Rhino 7 & 8 on a Mac. I could open in Windows if there was a Windows specific script to run.
