Render background - gradient... possible bug

in the render settings dialog:

if you choose to make a gradient background, only the top color will register (dark blue in the example)… the bottom color will always remain grey regardless of the color choice.

the gradient background is rendered as expected… just that the gradient colors are always grey blending with another color.
