Relationship between mesh and surface load in mesh load const

Hello everyone,

i have a question about the relationship between the mesh and the surface loads in the exact mesh load const.

Via Karamba 3D Chapter 3.2.1: The mesh where the load is applied and the underlying structure do not need to be connected. It needs to be fed into the “Mesh”-input-plug.

Does this mean that the mesh of the surface and the mesh of the load must perfectly match or will the load be assigned to the closest surface mesh nodes in case of mesh-differences?

Hi, if you are assigning a mesh load to a shell, then its usually preferably to use the same mesh, so that the loads get applied to each node appropriately. If you mesh load has a different resolution you will notice differences in your load application
