Hi all,
I am looking to create reciprocal edges from the base hexagonal geometries (blue):
Where the reciprocal joints are will hopefully look something like the following.
Would this be possible with the Ngon plugin, or is there any other recommendations?

Kind regards,

Hi Inke -
For someone who doesn’t have Karamba, there isn’t much in your file.
Apart from that, isn’t this the same question as your other thread?
Hi all,
I am looking to divide the hexagon into triangles using the “Trimesh” component. The new triangulation lines must start at the corners of the hexagons, and meet at the centroid.

Where the pink is the current grid from the “dual” output, and the yellow is the new lines from the corners to the centroid.
Thanks in advance,
Inke
Don’t you get the lines that you need from the script component that @DanielPiker added for you?

Hi Wim,
The problem as highlighted in my script is that I cannot extract “Mesh Edges” for hexagon with triangles from the corners of the hexagon to the centroid. The triangulation in his script cuts the hexagon at the mid point of the edges. I would like it to be at from the corners (as seen in my sketch).
If there’s no easy workaround, I’l make another plan. I need “Mesh Edges” for Karamba3D Line to beams.
Thanks for the help.
Kind regards,

Hi Inke -
Not when I open that file on my system here:
