I tried to regroup the numbers in 3D, but I couldn’t do it. Is there a way to rearrange the numbers to create a circular polyline (like the yellow curves in the photo)?

You uploaded the ‘2D’ not this 3D version
Thank you! I Just Updated it!!
This could be one way relying on what you’ve built:
Sort points 3D.gh (21.4 KB)
*summary:
Benefit from Point Polar using your starting (YZ) plane to sort your intersections, then partition the {sorted} list based on your original division number.
*Edit:
I should have said ‘based on this build’, where all the (apparently) intended line intersections are viable—shifting the list in another way will break this sorting as lines won’t touch consecutively—at that point you’d need a different method. Are you keeping this radially symmetrical system as is or are you trying to modify it? Can you clarify your goal(s) a little further?
Where do you guys learn all this stuff?!! I feel like a complete idiot when I see yours answers so fast and perfect!! Thank you a lot!!
From asking here, where else ![]()
Haha I feel like an idiot often enough—it’s a good feeling ![]()
jokes aside, sometimes we need a second set of eyes, that’s all, you’re already there!
Cheers!
I’ve been trying to solve this problem for two days, and it was impossible with the knowledge I currently have… I still have so much to learn! I’ve taken several courses, and I realize I still have a lot to learn. This software is exciting!
