Second files opens without Read Only in rhino7. How do I change it as read-only mode ?
Please explain what you mean by “second files”? Do you mean start a second instance of Rhino and open another file?
Thank you , yes (Do you mean start a second instance of Rhino and open )
I do not think it possible for a use to tell Rhino to open a file as “read only”. If the same file is opened in two different instances of Rhino the second time it will be opened “read only”.
A file can be designated using Windows File Explorer to be a “read only” file. Such files can only be opened in Rhino as “read only”.
Two or more files can be opened in the same instance of Rhino for Windows using Worksession. One file will be the active file and can be modified. The other files are reference files and cannot be modified. The file which is the active file designation can be changed.

I think both of these need to be checked for that to happen:
Note that in my experience, even if this is enabled, it does not always work if you have two different machines trying to access the file for synced folders like Dropbox etc.
Make sure “File locking” is checked in Options > Rhino Options > Files to see the warning message in Jeremy’s post.
No, the one I showed is the standard Windows triggered message you get when you try to save a file with the same name as one that already exists in the save location. Appears regardless of Rhino’s File Locking settings.

Thank you all , I checked my files settings and it’s solved.
