Is there any native way in Revit to filter Elements that changed in any way in comparison to another query result? This might solve one problem when working with large Revit files. For some analysis, I modified thousands of Block Definitions before I baked them into the Rhino file. This was a time-consuming process involving extracting Display Meshes, Element Geometry, and using ShrinkWrap. From the last time I did Revit → Rhino Elements copy maybe a hundred or fewer Elements changed in any way, but I don’t know which one… It would be cool if I could re-bake and update just 100 of elements instead of 10 000.
I imagine that maybe there might be some addin to Revit that would automatically add timestamps to all objects that were in any way (or just in selected ways) altered. But maybe, you can get that info out of Revit natively?
