Quad Remesh works well on Rhino 8 on a Mac with silicon chip, bought a new Mac with M3 chip in anticipation of Rhino 8. Not the smooth happy transfer experienced with Rhino 7.
But the most irritating at the moment is Quad Remesh, it just won’t work, even the options box won’t respond and when it does it doesn’t complete the task.
Am I missing something?

Update, I’ve stoped using the trackpad and now using a mouse, the options box is now working with the mouse but Quad Remesh is still not working.
I don’t know if anyone at McNeel already has access to an M3, I myself have access to M1 and M2 Max.

Here in a quick test on an M3 Max all seems to be working as expected,
pls run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results, thanks

hi @allanbeagle I cannot reproduce the behavior here still. Can you share the model you are remeshing?

The previous problem has not re-occurred after reloading Rhino8 and loading the updated 8.3. So that was great until this started happening: Nurb to mesh is ok then Quad Remesh gives a different shape.
The previous problem might have been because the trackpad was not working very well, now it is quite smooth and responds ok. But this is strange.
I’ve loaded Rhino7 on this computer and all is well, so I guess these problems will get resolved in good time.
